На выставке «NAIS 2025» делегация калужского аэропорта встретилась с руководством аэропорта города Киров и руководством авиакомпании «Северсталь». Обсуждался запуск регулярного рейса по маршруту Киров-Калуга-Челябинск уже в 2025 году.
Также обсуждались перспективы развития Калининградского направления и планировалась совместная работа по открытию регулярных перелетов из Калуги в Великий Устюг. Проект предполагается реализовать уже этой осенью.
