🔹محققان دانشگاه ویرجینیا کامنولث با بررسی ۳۱ هزار داوطلب با میانگین سنی ۶۱ سال که در ابتدای مطالعه سابقه سکته نداشتند، به این نتیجه رسیدند که یک یا چند علامت بی‌خوابی، باعث افزایش ۱۶ درصدی خطر بروز بیماری‌های حاد ازجمله بیماری‌های قلبی و سکته در آن‌ها می‌شود. 🔹به گفته محققان، احتمال بروز بیماری‌های جدی در افراد جوان‌تر از ۵۰ سال شدیدتر است و کسانی که پنج تا هشت علامت داشتند، حدود ۴ برابر بیشتر از بقیه در معرض ریسک سکته بودند. این خطر برای افرادی که به بیماری دیابت، پرفشاری خون، بیماری‌های قلبی و افسردگی دچار بودند، بیشتر هم می‌شد.
