🍃(Al-Muqaddim, Al-Mu'akhir)
💡 Supplication of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ: ( You are the Advancer( who sends forth), You are the Delayer, and You are Omnipotent(over all things competent)) ( Narrated by Muslim and Al Bukhari)
💡Al-Sa'di said: Al-Muqaddim, Al-Mu'akhir : are from His beautiful dual and opposite names, one of which is not applied to Allah alone except in conjunction with the other, for perfection comes from their combination, for He, the Most High, is the First to whomever He wills, and the Last to whomever He wills by His wisdom.
▫️Reflect: Whoever believes in the two names of Allah the Exalted, Al-Muqaddim and Al-Mu'akhir, that will bring him attachment to Allah alone and reliance on Him; because there is no first to what He delays, nor a last to what He advances.
💡The real beneficial progress is progress towards obeying Allah, pleasing Him, and the path to His Paradise, and any delay in it is reprehensible, and all of this is in the Hand of the One who advances and delays, so be attached to Him and rely on Him, for there is no one who advances or delays you in your worldly and afterlife affairs except that they are under His control.
Be a believer in His perfect wisdom in advancing or delaying the destinies of good or evil for you.
💡Let your scale in advancing and delaying, love and hate, loyalty and disavowal be the scale of Allah, the One who advances and delays.
❗️The creation will not be able to offer you something that Allah wanted to delay for you, nor delay something that Allah wanted to offer you, so be confident in offering His gift to you, and believe in the wisdom of His delaying what you ask for.
▪️ Supplication of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ : (O Allah, forgive me what I have sent before me and what I have left behind me, what I have concealed and what I have done openly, what I have done in excess, and what You are better aware of than I. You are the One Who sends forth and You are the One Who delays. There is no true deity except You)( Narrated by Muslim)
