Judge Hui described Ng as inciting others to โcommit a massacreโ with three posts teaching people to make โtoxic chlorine gas bombs,โ target police stations, police quarters and the cityโs metro stations. This offence was โrather serious,โ the court said. โ[The defendant] could not shift his criminal liability,โ Hui said. Ng, who had pleaded not guilty to all charges, had been detained for more than 20 months. His channel was said to have contained around 120 messages and photos that incited others to vandalise pro-government shops and commit criminal damage targeting police stations. While some crypto traders move toward screaming as a coping mechanism, many mental health experts have argued that โscream therapyโ is pseudoscience. Scientific research or no, it obviously feels good. Hui said the time period and nature of some offences โoverlappedโ and thus their prison terms could be served concurrently. The judge ordered Ng to be jailed for a total of six years and six months.
