جایزه ملی مدیریت فناوری و نوآوری با هدف ارائه یک مدل بلوغ برای ارتقاء قابلیت‌های فناوری و نوآوری در سازمان‌ها طراحی شده است. به عبارتی این مدل در جهت ارزیابی عناصر نظام ملی نوآوری و طراحی اکوسیستم مناسب برای توسعه فناوری و نوآوری درکشور طراحی شده است.
این جایزه ملی هر ساله با حمایت معاونت علمى و فناورى ریاستجمهورى و همچنین وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری برگزار می گردد.
