قد أكببت‏ لكم الدنيا على وجهها

عن النبي عيسى (ع): يا معشر الحواريين, إني قد أكببت‏ لكم الدنيا على وجهها فلا تنعشوها بعدي, فإن من‏ خبث‏ الدنيا أن‏ عصي الله فيها, وإن من‏ خبث‏ الدنيا أن‏ الآخرة لا تنال ولا تدرك‏ إلا بتركها, فاعبروا الدنيا ولا تعمروها, واعلموا أن أصل كل خطيئة حب الدنيا, ورب شهوة أورثت أهلها حزنا طويلا.

"Indeed, I have turned the world for you like the bottom of a vessel."
Jesus (Pbuh) said: " O assembly of disciples, indeed, I have thrown the worldly like the bottom of a vessel, so do not revive it after me. One of the evils of this world is that Allah is disobeyed in it, and another of its evils is that the Hereafter cannot be attained or reached except by abandoning it. So, pass through this world without building it up, and know that the root of every sin is the love of the world. Often, a fleeting desire brings its people prolonged sorrow."
