عن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): أربع يلزمن كل ذي حجى وعقل من أمتي, قيل: يا رسول الله ما هن؟ قال: استماع العلم, وحفظه, ونشره عند أهله, والعمل به.

The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: "Four things are obligatory for every person endowed with intellect from my nation." He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, what are they?" He replied: "Acquiring knowledge, preserving it, disseminating it among its people, and acting upon it."
