Those of you familiar with Greek might notice the unconventional rendering of the word "ὑγίεια", spelled as "ὑγία" instead. This common orthographical error might be explained by the fact that, by the late Koine period, the pronunciation of the expected digraph "ει" and the erroneously written "ι" had converged into the similar sounds /i:/* and /i/ respectively, confusing scribes as a result.
Or maybe.. just maybe.. there simply wasn't enough space :)
