🔸در وقایع اخیر بیش از آنکه شاهد کنش‌ورزی فعال نخبگان و روشنگری و هدایت توده‌ها توسط آنان باشیم؛ شاهد این بودیم که نخبگان دنباله‌رو توده‌ها شده بودند، در این وقایع بسیاری از نخبگان به دلیل اشتباه محاسباتی، از فضای منطقی که از ملزومات نخبگی است؛ فاصله گرفته و گرفتار فضای احساسی برآمده از جوسازی‌های رسانه و سوشال مدیا شدند. 🔸به‌عبارت دیگر در چنین شرایطی بیش از آنکه نخبگان بتوانند هدایت و رهبری توده‌ها را بر عهده بگیرند؛ این توده‌ها بودند که نخبگان را با خود همراه کرده بودند و نخبگان به دلیل ترس از انزوا و از دست رفتن موقعیت خود، به همراهی با آن‌ها پرداختند.
