Granting free speech to CCP-controlled apps leads to strip it from We the People. I’ve sent this to my representative and senators, and I encourage you and your friends to do the same. It is very frustrating to be so badly misrepresented and to see the CCP subverting my community. Freedom-loving people need to speak out.

Dear Rep. X,
I am a constituent in your district, and I want to share my firsthand experiences with Chinese apps. I urge you to prioritize processing the TikTok ban bill.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is waging a United Front (UF) espionage war against the U.S., with the Chinese-speaking community on the front lines. Apps like WeChat and Mao's Red Book (MRB, i.e. RedNote, Little Red Book), are critical tools and accomplices in this effort.
The CCP’s UF strategy differs from traditional espionage by using civilians as shields to achieve its goals. This widespread threat targets communities across the U.S., infiltrating civic engagement and political processes. Shadow operatives have taken over key leadership roles within these communities, ensuring that all activities align with and remain under CCP oversight(1). The Chinese community has been subverted by the CCP, replacing freedom-loving individuals like me. I have endured harassment, including death threats, doxing, and the loss of my social media career, which once had 300K followers. If we aim for peace through strength with China, we must dismantle their massive UF network on American soil.
TikTok is fully capable of replicating what WeChat has already done to Americans. Can we trust the CCP, which ultimately controls TikTok, to refrain from using it for infiltration and subversion? Given their global ambitions, they wouldn't resist leveraging such a powerful tool.
Granting free speech to CCP-controlled apps strips it from We the People. The 2021 decision to save WeChat was a grave mistake, resulting in diminished free speech for Chinese Americans and increased CCP control. Failing to address TikTok risks repeating this error. It’s time to regulate or ban Chinese apps like TikTok, WeChat, and MRB to restore free speech for millions of Americans and halt the growing influence of the CCP.
