Прокурор Зеленоградского района направил в суд уголовное дело о смертельном ДТП, совершенном в центре Зеленоградска в начале июля нетрезвым 61-летним местным жителем. В результате аварии погибла 71-летняя зеленоградка, травмы получил 29-летний турист. Как сообщает пресс-служба прокуратуры области, водитель обвиняется в совершении преступления, предусмотренного п. «а» ч. 4 ст. 264 УК РФ «Нарушение лицом, управляющим автомобилем, правил дорожного движения, повлекшее по неосторожности смерть человека, совершенное в состоянии опьянения».

Deputy District Judge Peter Hui sentenced computer technician Ng Man-ho on Thursday, a month after the 27-year-old, who ran a Telegram group called SUCK Channel, was found guilty of seven charges of conspiring to incite others to commit illegal acts during the 2019 extradition bill protests and subsequent months. Ng Man-ho, a 27-year-old computer technician, was convicted last month of seven counts of incitement charges after he made use of the 100,000-member Chinese-language channel that he runs and manages to post "seditious messages," which had been shut down since August 2020. Joined by Telegram's representative in Brazil, Alan Campos, Perekopsky noted the platform was unable to cater to some of the TSE requests due to the company's operational setup. But Perekopsky added that these requests could be studied for future implementation. In 2018, Telegram’s audience reached 200 million people, with 500,000 new users joining the messenger every day. It was launched for iOS on 14 August 2013 and Android on 20 October 2013. Commenting about the court's concerns about the spread of false information related to the elections, Minister Fachin noted Brazil is "facing circumstances that could put Brazil's democracy at risk." During the meeting, the information technology secretary at the TSE, Julio Valente, put forward a list of requests the court believes will disinformation.
