I am one of those who think that work builds a man, but the work that our ancestors had. Good things do not come from the character of the man who has as his source papers on the table and a pen. I believe that nothing good can have come from a philosopher whose hands are not calloused. The most powerful weapons we have are our hoes, sickles and axes; they are the ones covered with any reason of ours.
