Due to the tragic events of March 22, 2024 in the Crocus City Hall, additional security measures were taken in all regions of Russia. In particular, police has intensified the personal identity check of foreign citizens.

As a rule meeting with police officers or other representatives of legal authorities is limited to verification of documents and asking clarifying questions.

In this regard, please be kindly advised of the following:

🔺always carry your passport, valid migration registration, migration card, student ID card and, if available, a document confirming that you have completed the mandatory procedures of fingerprinting and photographing.
be considerate of document checks.
🔺If you are stopped by a police officer, you should never react rudely or harshly.
🔺be polite, remain calm, do not resist physically.

Please remember that these measures are carried out within the legal framework and aim primarily at protection of public order and your personal safety.
