خوشحالم که از سوی کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ باخبر شدم که دعوت پیشین من به این کنفرانس همچنان پابرجاست.

شرکت در این کنفرانس، هم‌چون دیگر فعالیت‌های عمومی، فقط درباره‌ هم‌میهنانم بود و اینکه صدای آنها در صحنه جهانی شنیده شود. از این‌ رو، من با پیامی از سوی ملت ایران به مونیخ خواهم رفت: مبارزه ما تنها برای آزادی ایران نیست؛ بلکه برای رهایی جهان از تروریسم و باج‌خواهی جمهوری اسلامی نیز است.

من به نمایندگی از هموطنانم به جامعه بین‌المللی خواهم گفت که در این لحظه حساس و فرصت بی‌سابقه، زمان آن رسیده است که نه‌تنها در کنار مردم ایران بایستند، بلکه در همبستگی با آنان دست به اقدام عملی بزنند. این مردم ایران هستند که با پایان دادن به رژیم جنگ‌طلبان در تهران، صلحی پایدار را به خاورمیانه خواهند آورد.

از کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ، تیم همکارانم، و تمامی کسانی که صدای خود را بلند کردند تا صدای ملت ایران در مونیخ شنیده شود، سپاسگزارم.

I am pleased to have been informed by the Munich Security Conferance that my invitation has been maintained.

This conference, like all public engagements, was always about my compatriots and having their voices heard on the world stage. So I will go with a message from the Iranian people: our fight is not just to free Iran, but the world, from the terror and blackmail of the Islamic Republic.

On behalf of my compatriots, I will tell the international community that at this critical moment of opportunity it is time not just to stand but to act in solidarity with Iranians. It is they, the people of Iran, who will bring lasting peace to the Middle East when they end the reign of the warmongers in Tehran.

I thank the Munich Security Conference, my team, and all those who lent their voices to ensure the Iranian people’s could be heard in Munich.
