#PeoplesHistory | Today, we remember and honor Marshall "Eddie" Conway, a member of the Black Panther Party and revolutionary activist for the liberation of Black people in the United States.
Conway dedicated his life to the Black liberation struggle and the fight against racism and inequality. He spent 44 years behind bars as a political prisoner. Conway was an integral part of the Baltimore chapter of the Black Panther Party. After his release in 2014, Eddie continued the struggle, taking up journalism with The Real News Network. Even as his health declined, a product of the 4 decades he spent in prison, Eddie never abandoned the struggle. He lived his life for the people.
¡Hasta siempre!
