However, in September 2021, the gm app was down after a hacker reportedly gained access to the user data. Telegram iOS app: In the “Chats” tab, click the new message icon in the right upper corner. Select “New Channel.” It’s easy to create a Telegram channel via desktop app or mobile app (for Android and iOS): Telegram Android app: Open the chats list, click the menu icon and select “New Channel.”
