Я открою окна, налью воды,
Позвеню ключами, как тот поэт.
Ничего нет чище ночной слюды,
Где звезда оставит атласный след.

Здесь, в подлунном мире, среди темниц,
Тех, в которых с вечера пьют печаль, —
Ничего нет тоньше эмали лиц,
Ничего сильнее телесных чар.

Только воздух комканый чуть дрожит,
И в замахе медлит рассветный час,
И встает над нами, пугая нас,
Неизбежности твердый тяжелый щит.
