Найден в Пазырыкском кургане № 1 в 1929 году в горном Алтае на плато Укок. Материал — войлок, кожа, конский волос. Удивительная сохранность самого чепрака и его красок объясняется вечной мерзлотой. Датировка — ок. V-IV века до н.э.

Upd. Уточню, это не просто чепрак, он не укладывался ПОД седло, он сам играл роль седла.
