В 2023 подсветили наиболее яркие объекты в центре - пожарную каланчу, Спасо-Преображенский собор, здания старой и новой хлебных бирж, фойе театра драмы и Никольскую часовню.

В нынешнем году сделают ещё четыре объекта в историческом центре: костёл, здание авиационного колледжа (до революции - коммерческое училище), театр кукол и бывшую гостиницу на углу Стоялой и Волжской набережной.

Система включается автоматически, реагируя на уровень освещенности. Работы, как и в прошлом году, профинансируют за счёт областного бюджета.
