🎉Hooray! One of our dear future settlers who is coming to Nizhny Novgorod has received his private visa under the Decree in the Russian Consulate. He is most probably one of the first that got it.
In order to obtain this visa he personally went to the consulate and submitted the following documents:
▫️ Passport;
▫️Application form (please note that this is the application that is available on one of the Consulate’s website, it is advisable to check the website for the similar form in your country!)
▫️ 2 photos (only 1 photo glued to the application form);
▫️ Travel insurance.
Please note, in order to obtain the new private visa under the Decree, no invitation from anyone in Russia is required.
For those travelling with kids, please bring original birth certificates and photo copies.
The consulate will keep the original of passports while the visa is processed. Turn around time is 10-14 days.
