Developing social channels based on exchanging a single message isn’t exactly new, of course. Back in 2014, the “Yo” app was launched with the sole purpose of enabling users to send each other the greeting “Yo.” Members can post their voice notes of themselves screaming. Interestingly, the group doesn’t allow to post anything else which might lead to an instant ban. As of now, there are more than 330 members in the group. Matt Hussey, editorial director at NEAR Protocol also responded to this news with “#meIRL”. Just as you search “Bear Market Screaming” in Telegram, you will see a Pepe frog yelling as the group’s featured image. “Hey degen, are you stressed? Just let it all out,” he wrote, along with a link to join the group. Hui said the messages, which included urging the disruption of airport operations, were attempts to incite followers to make use of poisonous, corrosive or flammable substances to vandalize police vehicles, and also called on others to make weapons to harm police.
