It’s a dream to compete in front of such an audience. A lot of our guys hadn’t previously played with such a large crowd, so it was a tense moment for them with plenty of responsibility attached. I’m delighted that we managed to make the fans happy with our victories both 5-on-5 and 3-on-3. This record attendance proves just how much the public loves the Russian national team. I know that fans from other cities travelled to Saint Petersburg for the tournament, and that the entire country watched the games.
