🗓 On December 7, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had several meetings on the sidelines of the 22nd Doha Forum:
🇷🇺🇮🇶 With Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had an in-depth exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East, with a focus on developments in Syria.
The Russian Side reaffirmed its support for the efforts of Iraqi authorities to enhance internal political stability in the country, the fight against terrorism and other challenges to its national security, to address socio-economic problems and strengthen Baghdad’s role in the regional arena.
