در سفر امام رضا علیه السلام به خراسان همراهشان بودم . روزی امر کردند تا سفره ی غذا انداخته شود و هنگامی که سفره حاضر شد ،همه ی خدمتکاران و غلامان خود حتی سیاهان و دیگران را ، سر سفره ی خود دعوت کردند . مرد بلخی می گوید : به امام گفتم : قربانت شوم ! کاش برای این غلامان و نوکران سفره ای جداگانه قرار می دادی ! حضرت فرمودند: ساکت باش ! ﺧﺪای ﻫﻤﻪ ی ﻣﺎ ﯾﮑﯽ اﺳﺖ ، ﭘﺪر و ﻣﺎدرﻣﺎن ﻧﯿﺰ ﯾﮑﯽ اﺳﺖ و ﭘﺎداش اعمال ، ﺑﺴﺘﮕﯽ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻤﻞ اﺷﺨﺎص دارد .
« فقال : مه ! إن الرب تبارك وتعالى واحد والام واحدة والاب واحد و الجزاء بالاعمال »
