САП і Європейська прокуратура підписали Меморандум про співпрацю
У Люксембурзі відбулася зустріч керівника Спеціалізованої антикорупційної прокуратури Олександра Клименка з Головним європейським прокурором Лаурою Ковеші. За її підсумками сторони підписали Меморандум про співпрацю між САП та Європейською прокуратурою (EPPO).
Документ відкриває новий етап у взаємодії між українськими та європейськими прокурорами. Він, зокрема, передбачає створення постійного каналу комунікації для спільного реагування на правопорушення, що можуть стосуватися коштів Євросоюзу, виділених на підтримку та відбудову України.
Підписання Меморандуму є свідченням зрілості антикорупційної системи України та її інтеграції до європейського правового простору. Європейська прокуратура створена для захисту бюджету ЄС від шахрайства та корупції.
Співпраця між САП і EPPO стане додатковою гарантією прозорого використання міжнародної допомоги Україні та запобігатиме зловживанням у сфері оборонних, гуманітарних і відбудовних програм. А також створить імпульс до зміцнення доброчесності публічних витрат і довіри до процесів відновлення, щоб кожне євро партнерів працювало на сильну та стійку Україну.
Візит відбувся за підтримки Антикорупційної ініціативи ЄС. Ми вдячні партнерам, що незмінно і різнобічно сприяють посиленню спроможностей антикорупційної прокуратури.

SAPO and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
In Luxembourg, the Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko, met with the European Chief Prosecutor, Ms Laura Kövesi. Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between SAPO and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO).
The document marks a new stage in cooperation between Ukrainian and European prosecutors. It provides, in particular, for the establishment of a permanent channel for joint responses to offences that may concern EU funds allocated for the support and reconstruction of Ukraine.
The signing of the Memorandum demonstrates the maturity of Ukraine’s anti-corruption system and its integration into the European legal framework. The European Public Prosecutor’s Office was established to protect the EU budget from fraud and corruption.
Cooperation between SAPO and EPPO will serve as an additional safeguard for the transparent use of international assistance to Ukraine and help prevent abuses in defence, humanitarian and reconstruction programmes. It will also create momentum for strengthening the integrity of public spending and trust in recovery processes so that every euro from partners contributes to a strong and resilient Ukraine.
The visit was supported by the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative. We are grateful to our partners for their continued and comprehensive support in strengthening the capacities of the anti-corruption prosecution.
