В Петербурге стартовал любительский турнир по футболу «Кубок футбольных мам», посвящённый 8 Марта. В соревновании участвуют 12 команд, составленных из мам, в том числе многодетных, из разных регионов России.

Спикер парламента и президент Федерации футбола Петербурга Александр Бельский поздравил участниц и отметил важность развития женского футбола в городе.
