اسرائیلیها اعلام کردند که جوان اسرائیلی-آمریکایی متولد نیویورک که در نیر اُز و در جریان درگیریهای روز 7 اکتبر به عنوان ربوده شده اعلام شده بود، در آن روز کشته شده و جنازه او را حماس به غزّه منتقل کرده است.

خانواده او از فعالان جدی در زمینه آزادی گروگانها بودند و بارها با مقامات آمریکایی در این زمینه گفتگو کرده بودند.

طبیعی است که این خبرها هیچ تأثیری در برنامه‌های نتانیاهو و موقعیت او نخواهد داشت.
