SDU University is announcing the following vacancy and inviting the qualified candidates to apply for the currently open position:

1️⃣ Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer of Language Education

✔️ Functional responsibilities:
− Ability to teach courses within the department (Linguistics, TESOL)
− Conducting training sessions with students in the discipline:" Research methodology in Education/Educational Research"
− Supervising PhD/MA students
− Teaching statistical tools and analysis (SPSS, EPInfo, STATA)

✔️ Requirements:
− Higher Education
− PhD/Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences/ Masters degree
− Work experience: 3-5 years (Teaching in the English Language in Higher/School Education)
− Contribution to the advancement of knowledge through research, scholarship, publication, knowledge transfer or professional practice which would be expected to be international in its scope
− H-Index not less than 2
− CiteScore not less than 25
− Diploma nostrification within 6 months

✔️ Proficiency in languages
Excellent oral and written skills of English language is required (IELTS minimum 7.0).

✔️ Conditions:
− Clearance in accordance with Labor Code of RK
− Type of employment: full-time job
− Trial period - 1-3 months
− Salary by results of interview
