Afloat

I hope you're each together,
In confines you call home.
Be your sails all aweather,
Be in love or to atone.

Feel you no bad weather,
Nor no chill down to your bone.
Nor the obsolescence and terror,
Of sailing all alone.

Be among the frost far-flung,
Or home amongst the heather.
Never shall our nerve be rung,
So long as we're together.
Large, small, short, or tall.
Man is measured by his hardships.
And how he strives in all.
One of the main reasons that so many men unnecessarily end their lives is because people tend to think that "they'll be alright".
In an ironic but revealing twist of fate, wealthy individuals now live within the very places that our ancestors suffered during sixteen hour work days.

If you really want to see #England, then you'll really have to look for it.
Something that's always plagued me about every unkind act I've ever experienced or witnessed is how the perpetrators manage to live with themselves. To this day, I regret and feel shame for various things I've done throughout my life. But, nowadays, I feel not only that we've very few empathetic and emotionally intelligent individuals in existence, but that the few to exist are now especially burdened by the ever-growing concern and confusion of having to harbour the additional, cognitive weight of those who'll never carry it themselves.
It's intilectually dishonest to suggest that modern architecture is superior to that of the past.

Lost is she who seeks the power of manhood whilst receiving the type of chivalry that avoids its many risks.
Each time I visit a quiet town or village, I'm quickly reminded just how paranoid, security conscious, and stand-offish the city has made me.
During the lead up to WW1, #Britain accepted a massive amount of refugees yet refused admittance to "king" George V's own cousin, Tzar Nicholas II and the last of The Royal Romanov family despite knowing they'd be slaughtered by Bolsheviks.
I shan't be making a habit of commenting on current affairs but one thing I can promise you is that if the western world finally stopped interfering in the east, it would, as if by magic, have far less problems in the west.
Much to the contrary of public opinion, most men are far better at concealing their long-term anguish than healing from its trauma.
Everywhere I look, be it in person or on social media, almost everyone in sight is suffering in perpetual misery. Yet, despite there being no happiness or hope within modern society, small groups of governmental bodies still narcissisticly act as if they're truly working on behalf of the populace.
It pays to be the "Macho Man"..
