Патерсон так назван в честь Уильяма Патерсона, государственного деятеля, подписавшего Конституцию, и губернатора Нью-Джерси, подписавшего хартию 1792 года, в соответствии с которой и был учрежден город Патерсон.
Сегодня утром открыла окно и кажется, что шум водопадов до сих пор стоит в ушах. А это — шум работающих кондиционеров в соседних окнах🙈
