How to Create a Private or Public Channel on Telegram? Telegram iOS app: In the “Chats” tab, click the new message icon in the right upper corner. Select “New Channel.” A new window will come up. Enter your channel name and bio. (See the character limits above.) Click “Create.” The initiatives announced by Perekopsky include monitoring the content in groups. According to the executive, posts identified as lacking context or as containing false information will be flagged as a potential source of disinformation. The content is then forwarded to Telegram's fact-checking channels for analysis and subsequent publication of verified information. You can invite up to 200 people from your contacts to join your channel as the next step. Select the users you want to add and click “Invite.” You can skip this step altogether.
