ДТП сталася близько 17:00 у селі Карів Червоноградського району.
Троє братів – місцевих жителів віком 13, 11 та 1 рік 4 місяці, грались на території будинку. Двоє старших сіли в батьківський автомобіль ВАЗ-2106. Молодший у цей час стояв перед транспортним засобом. В якийсь момент автомобіль покотився та наїхав на дитину.
Внаслідок наїзду хлопчик отримав тілесні ушкодження та був госпіталізований.
