ينقل عن شيخ مشايخنا العلامة محمد الأمين الشنقيطي أنه كان يقول : هناك آية في كتاب الله تفرحنا كثيرا، قيل له أهي قوله تعالى : *( إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ)* ، قال : لا بل قوله تعالى : *(إِن تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُم مُّدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا)* ، فنحن نجتنب الكبائر بالكلية وما نستطيع من الصغائر .. هذا والله الفقه عن الله ورسوله من أراد النجاة فليلزم هذا القول سرا وعلنا ...
