Should you take AP Classes?

I know there are only 2 days left to register, and many people are reaching out to me, so here’s what you should consider:

Firstly, AP classes help you prepare academically, especially if you come from a public school in Uzbekistan. They provide a smoother transition into university-level coursework.

Secondly, you earn university credits! By entering university with these credits, you have the flexibility to choose lighter semesters compared to others, or even graduate in just 3 years if you prefer.

When it comes to admissions, counselors often question the academic competency of students from Uzbekistan, particularly from public schools. Taking AP classes is a great way to reassure them about your abilities.

Also, since many students in Uzbekistan are now achieving strong SAT and IELTS scores at a young age but have no other means of challenging themselves academically, AP classes are an excellent way to stand out—especially in the eyes of admissions counselors.

Lastly, keep in mind quality over quantity. Instead of taking three AP classes and scoring a 3, it’s much better to take one or two and aim for a 5.
