قبل الحرب؛ كانت كل أحلامنا وأمنياتنا على قائمة الانتظار، نحاول ونحاول عساها ان تكون قريبة.. نكتب لها تواريخا عساها أن تكون قريبة.. اليوم نحن نضعها على قوائم الإلغاء.. تدريجيا، مع طول أمد الحرب، نفقدها شيئا فشيئا.. نحن لا نحاول.. لا نستطيع أن نحاول.. لا خيارات للمحاولة.. لا خيارات سوى الصبر والتسليم، لا محاولات سوى للنجاة بالجسد ..! نحن لا نودع أحبابنا فقط، لا نودع بيوتنا وأشياءنا العزيزة فقط.. نحن نودع أشياء سكنت خفايا أنفسنا.. رجوناها من الله وحده.. وحده فقط.. وحده سمع نحيب قلوبنا رغبة بها.. نحن نودعها على أمل الحصول عليها في الجنة.. هل جربت أن تكتب قائمة أمنياتك على ورقة وبدلا من أن تضع لها تاريخا، أن تكتب بقربها "في الجنة" !
