الحمد: نقيض الذم، وهو الثناء. طيبا: منزها عن كل ما ينقصه من رياء وسمعة. مباركا فيه: البركة: هي الزيادة والنماء. غير مكفي: أي: غير محتاج لأحد من خلقه، فهو الذي يُطْعِمُ ولا يُطْعَمُ. ولا مودع: أي: غير متروك. ولا مُسْتَغْنًى عنه ربَّنا: أي: أن كل خلقه محتاجون إليه.
