فقد ثبت عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: «أعظم الأيام عند الله يوم النحر، ثم يوم القر»
وكـان أبو موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه يقول في خطـبته يوم النحر : "بعد يوم النحر ثلاثةُ أيام، التي ذكَرَ الله الأيامَ المعدودات لا يُرد فيهن الدعاء، فارفعوا رغبتكـم إلى الله عز وجل "
