Southern Syria is awakening against Assad
Assad's opponents in southern Syria (and there are many of them) cannot remain indifferent to the sights coming from Aleppo and Hama and after a week of awakening. This morning they are already openly celebrating the expulsion of Assad's forces from the village of Inkhil in Daraa.
Assad's forces realized they were in trouble and simply abandoned their headquarters on the spot.
If I hadn't written that it was in Inkhil, it would have been possible to get confused and think it was in Aleppo - the sights are similar. Young people on motorcycles with clothing reminiscent of the rebels in Aleppo.
Everything is rumbling under Assad's feet.
