For many Ukrainians, the news about the arrest of traitors has become absolutely commonplace. Judging from the survey conducted by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, the question "what hinders the unity of Ukrainians?" - 9% of respondents said that it is the colaborers and traitors. Although the most popular answer was about corruption (16%), but the idea of internal enemies is still quite widespread.

And indeed, how can you don't believe it when every day you see the arrest of those who harm the life of our state. 

However, it is very strange to see among the traitors those who put their whole life for the welfare and development of Ukraine  (for security purposes I will not tell their history). However, it is even more strange to see the clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church among the  "trairltors". 

One can agree that those who show the prohibited coordinates really should be punished, as well as those who reveal the state secrets, or those who steal from the country, but why should the ordinary priests be punished?

The reason for the pressure on the metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkassy was his refusal to be exchanged. 

My case has all the hallmarks of the same track. For a long time I could not understand why the investigation attributed to me a very unreal role in the Church, from blocking of draft laws to the leadership of organisations, which I had no relations with. 

However, everything falls into place if you look at me and other clergy of the UOC not as guilty of something, but as "goods for exchange". 

In her interview the journalist of "Lviviy Bereg" said that the priests of the UOC are the "golden exchange fund".

Ask yourself: who needs an ordinary parish priest? But if you say that he created an agency, blocked the acception of the law prohibiting of the UOC, and controlled a lot of organisations, it's a big deal! 

It is a shame that we have reached such a point, when Ukrainian patriots have become hostages in their own State, so the struggle continues. Thank you to all those who are not indifferent to my duty, a typical priest of the sinful archpriest Sergiy Chertilin.
