۱۴ سال پیش در ۱۴ اسفند ۱۳۸۹، آلینوش طَریان ـ مادر نجوم و بانوی اخترفیزیک ایران ـ درگذشت. دکتر آلینوش طریان پس از راه‌اندازی «مؤسسه‌ی ژئوفیزیک دانشگاه تهران»، سرپرستی «رصدخانه‌ی فیزیک خورشیدی» را بر عهده گرفت و در این جا بود که برای نخستین بار درس فیزیک خورشیدی و اخترفیزیک ستارگانی را ارائه کرد. دکتر طریان در سال ۱۳۴۳ به درجه‌ی استادی رسید. وی به پاس سال‌ها فعالیت علمی و پژوهشی، «بانوی اخترفیزیک و مادر ستاره‌شناسی نوین ایران» نام گرفته است.

Don’t publish new content at nighttime. Since not all users disable notifications for the night, you risk inadvertently disturbing them. Choose quality over quantity. Remember that one high-quality post is better than five short publications of questionable value.
