Dari Anas bin Malik r.a, sesungguhnya Rasulullah s.a.w telah bersabda:
"Umatku yg paling menyayangi umatku ialah Abu Bakr, yg paling tegas dlm agama ialah Umar al-Khattab, yg paling benar pd sifat malu ialah Uthman, yg terbaik dlm penghakiman ialah Ali Abi Talib,
yg terbaik pembacaan kitab Allah ialah Ubai bin Kaab, yg paling berpengatahuan mengenai halal & haram ialah Muaz bin Jabal, yg paling mahir mengenai faraid ialah Zaid bin Tsabit, ketahuilah bagi setiap umat ada pemegang amanah
& umatku yg paling amanah ialah Abu Ubaidah al-Jarrah."

Rasulullah sgt arif & kenal mutarabbinya secara dekat & tepat hingga mampu menumbuhkan tsiqah pd setiap mutabbinya & meletakkan mereka di posisi yg betul utk harakah.
