دکتر «فرزاد بالو» دانشیار دانشکدۀ ادبیّات و زبان‌های خارجی دانشکده بابلسر را یک بار در نشست نقد و بررسی کتاب «رخداد فهم، شرحی بر کارنامه‌ی شاعران هرمسی معاصر» دوست اندیشمندم آقای مازیار چابک، دیدم. باب آشنایی را هم دکتر جهاندیده و نیکویی در خانه‌ی فرهنگ گیلان ایجاد کردند.

دکتر فرزاد بالو، اخیراً کتابی پر و پیمان با موضوع «روشنفکران ایرانی و مسئله زبان» نوشته‌اند که شاخصه‌های زبان و کارکرد آن را از دوره‌ی مشروطه تاکنون با نظر به آرای و اندیشه‌ی متفکران و روشنفکران مهم ایرانی در هر دوره بررسی کرده‌اند.
امیدوارم این کتاب بتواند در پس تحلیل‌هایش، نظرگاه‌های نویی را ایجاد کند.
