Company is a leading global platform that provides streamlined work payments, employment, and tax management solutions for freelancers, remote workers, and their employers. We are expanding our global team and looking for a COO to bring their wider knowledge and experience to bear as we continue to rapidly scale the business. Would you like to take on a new challenge in the field of Operations in a successful fast-growing global start-up?

Location: Remote (ideally based in Central or South Eastern Europe, not Russia)

Salary Range: €100-120k per year + options

Key Responsibilities:
- Plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, refining workflows and developing strategy
- Includes broad ranging responsibilities with a particular responsibility for managing payroll operations (management skills needed, not payroll experience), product operations and legal
- Responsible for identifying areas for improvement in the company's operations and implementing solutions to address them
- A combination of a mind for strategic improvement combined with the tenacity to deliver a smooth execution
- Coordination of operational departments to ensure that the company is running smoothly
- Will work closely with the founder and CEO, Chief of Staff and wider C-Suite team to develop and execute team's overall vision and goals
- Mentorship of mid-level company management
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations management or related field
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus
- FinTech / Financial / Audit background is a strong advantage
