Those of you who have been with us for over a year know what to expect when a heat wave comes – a post on sun loungers!

Based on our content plan, chances are that this week will end up as Five Days of Italy in MCM and we’ve decided to publish an important work by Franco Albini which proved to be groundbreaking for the Italian design scene. Even though Vittorio Bonacina, Italy’s and world’s leading manufacturer of rattan furniture, had been known to slip into the realm of modernism, it was their collaboration with Albini in 1950 that opened a new chapter in the history of this family business. When other modernists such as Willy Guhl were busy designing outdoor furniture of high-tech materials, Albini turned his rationalist eye to Italy’s artisanal past and, together with Gino Colombini, created the Margherita chair using only rattan, an inexpensive material that had largely been ignored by forward-thinking designers (Arne Jacobsen doesn’t count, but his is a story for the Days of Denmark).

To upload a logo, click the Menu icon and select “Manage Channel.” In a new window, hit the Camera icon. For crypto enthusiasts, there was the “gm” app, a self-described “meme app” which only allowed users to greet each other with “gm,” or “good morning,” a common acronym thrown around on Crypto Twitter and Discord. But the gm app was shut down back in September after a hacker reportedly gained access to user data. Done! Now you’re the proud owner of a Telegram channel. The next step is to set up and customize your channel. A few years ago, you had to use a special bot to run a poll on Telegram. Now you can easily do that yourself in two clicks. Hit the Menu icon and select “Create Poll.” Write your question and add up to 10 options. Running polls is a powerful strategy for getting feedback from your audience. If you’re considering the possibility of modifying your channel in any way, be sure to ask your subscribers’ opinions first. Public channels are public to the internet, regardless of whether or not they are subscribed. A public channel is displayed in search results and has a short address (link).
