Kita tidak boleh merasa gundah terhadap masa depan. Makanya, diantara doa Nabi ﷺ : اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ
Ya Allah, aku berlindung kepadaMu dari al hamm dan al hazan. Al hamm itu ertinya, kekhawatiran terhadap masa depan. Dan al hazan adalah kesedihan atas apa yang sudah berlalu.
Dan itu sebahagian dari kelemahan. Kan Nabi ﷺ mengatakan wa la ta'jaz jangan kamu lemah. Orang yang galau menatap masa depan itu bahagian dari kelemahan. Maka Nabi ﷺ minta perlindungan kepada Allah, agar terhindar dari hal tersebut. Makanya kata syaikh as-sa'di rahimahullah, hendaklah kita fokus terhadap urusan kita hari ini. Maksudnya urusan yg ada sekarang. Yang sudah berlalu jangan terlalu dipikirkan, kemungkinan² di masa depan tidak perlu dirisaukan.
