پاپیروسی پهلوی در موزهٔ پاپیروس، کتابخانهٔ ملی اتریش، وین
در سالهای 619-629 ارتش ایران ساسانی مصر را تصاحب کرد. در پاپیروس بالا متن مکتوب با نویسه‌های ضخیم به خط پهلوی کتابی (فارسی میانهٔ زرتشتی) است و مربوط به دههٔ فوق‌الذکر است. این متن بر روی یک نسخهٔ خطی یونانی از کتاب مقدس نوشته شده است. کاتب متن پهلوی زحمت پاک کردن دست نوشتهٔ یونانی را به خود نداده است.
